Will you take up our Odyssey Challenge?

Get in touch with us now!

The objective of the Odyssey Challenge is to foster kindness and enhance awareness of disabilities within the realm of sports. This initiative will be implemented across lots of educational institutions and community clubs that wish to engage in this programme.

Various groups, such as Cubs, Scouts, Police Cadets, and schools, have embraced the Odyssey Challenge. Through the promotion of kindness and the elevation of disability awareness, we aspire to inspire children to       engage in acts of kindness and to extend compassion towards others. Respect and kindness are fundamental attributes in all sports, and we aim to promote this through this initiative.

Additionally, we intend to heighten  and raise awareness of local emergency services and to cultivate positive relationships between these services and their respective communities.

In our logo, the term 'Odyssey' is symbolically represented by a group of phoenixes. The word 'Odyssey' also evokes the embarking of an adventure. Therefore, let us embark on this adventure of kindness together, bringing hope to others, much like the phoenix itself.

Kindness

Participants will undertake a specified number of acts of kindness to fulfil their exciting challenge. Each child will select a challenge: completing 30 acts of kindness will earn them a challenge coin, while achieving 50 acts of kindness will result in the award of a medal.

Citizenship

A commitment to raise funds for the Intrepid Games Foundation, with a very small target of £30 per child.

These funds will significantly support the yearly organisation of the Intrepid Games for emergency services. This teaches about citizenship and the principles of fund-raising.

Disability Sport

Our fundraising efforts will benefit the Intrepid Games Foundation, contributing to the increased recognition of existing disability clubs within our communities. The   criteria for participation include a visit to a local disability club to gain insight into the sport offered by that club (with adult supervision required) or in some cases we are able to bring the sport to you.

Medals and Challenge Coins

Our medals and challenge coins are of great quality served by Wheelers

Medals Presentation

Part of our agreement is that we will always endeavour to have an emergency services worker to present the medals and challenge coins in your school.

Please note this isn't always possible.

We have a great pool of volunteers readily available!

Our Youth Ambassador

Meet Roddie. One of the amazing children that has completed the Odyssey Challenge. Roddie walked an incredible 11 miles in the heat and raised £650 for his tremendous effort! We are very proud and made him our ambassador.
